In the late 90's, Jim relocated his family to Florida. There he performed as a solo act performing at several of the tourist hot spots in Cocoa Beach and surrounding areas until 2008. Jim always wanted to move closer to Nashville and the "heart" of the country music industry. So in 2008, the family packed up and moved to Sparta TN, his parents home town and where many of his relatives still live today.
